Our motto at Promise Christian Preschool is to “love each child as if they were our own.” Our program offers a balance of creative, age appropriate, hands on academic activities for all of our children ages 2 (non-potty trained) through 5. Our goal is to give each child opportunities to engage in meaningful play, social interactions, developmental and spiritual growth. We are a licensed facility through the state of California and abide by all the standards and regulations required. In addition, we focus on a Christian perspective in order to share God’s great love for all of us.

Promise provides a comprehensive preschool education in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment. The goals for the students address both their spiritual and educational needs. We strive to prepare the children to live life with a loving relationship with God and expose them to the basic academic areas through an integrated approach. It is our intent that the children will exit our Preschool Program and have the necessary skills for entry into a Kindergarten or first grade program at a public or faith-based school with a strong Christian Foundation.

Our center is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We are open to serve you on a daily basis (excluding legal and Christian Holidays). We are devoted to serving children from age 2 (non-potty trained level) through Kindergarten. Our weekly chapel themes provide an additional connection to God’s love for us and our daily Christian behavior.

Our program encompasses a Christian perspective as well as appropriate academic readiness. Our most important goal is to support children in their active exploration and to help them become self-confident, and inquisitive learners. Children learn best by doing.

Children are naturally curious and eager to explore, pretend, and discover for themselves. At Promise Christian Preschool, we capitalize on children’s natural curiosity by providing an environment rich in materials to explore, manipulate, and discuss. Children are encouraged to question, experiment, think, and to reason.

The foundation of mathematics is learned when your child balances and builds with blocks, pours water and sand, measures cooking ingredients, and makes peg board patterns, for example.

Pre-reading concepts of size, shape, color, and location, are learned when your child paints and pates, assembles puzzles, and plays on climbing toys. The eye-hand coordination necessary for writing develops for example, as your child draws, shapes clay, strings beads, and cuts with scissors.

Our classrooms are organized with a selection of toys, books, and materials which are age appropriate and accessible to children. Each week teachers plan a variety of activities around a specific theme of study. Each activity supports a developmental goal or enhances the understanding of a concept.

The Promise Program is designed to address the specific needs of each ago and developmental stage in the following areas: socio-emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual. Promise Christian Preschool believes strongly in fostering the growth of the whole child.
